Change Mailbox Security code Vertical SBX IP 320

Security codes on the Vertical SBX IP 320 are known as Authorization Codes/passwords if you are looking in a manual.

To setup or change an Authorization Code/password.

  • From the phone to be setup or changed press the TRANS/PGM key.
  • Dial 32
  • Enter current password
  • Press the HOLD/SAVE key
  • Enter new password.
  • Press the HOLD/SAVE key

You may change all codes from the Attendant station.

  • Push the TRANS/PGM key
  • Dial 32
  • Enter Extension number to be changed
  • Enter new Code
  • Push HOLD/SAVE

NOTE - Doing this overrides the stations existing Code

Tech Tip - Authorization codes can not be duplicated! Everyone must have a different Code. When changing a Code an error tone will sound if it is a duplicate.
