Transfer a call NEC I-series

To Transfer the caller to another phone:

• Press HOLD when ready to begin the transfer.

- this action will place the caller on hold and return intercom dialtone to you.

• Enter extension number, or press the function key, of phone to receive the transfer.
• You may announce the call or not at this point.
• Press the preprogramed "transfer" key to send the caller thorugh.

If you do not have a preprogramed transfer key you may be able to simply hang up after announcing the call. Contact your vendor if you are unsure.

To send the caller to a mailbox:

• Press HOLD when ready to begin the transfer.

- this action will place the caller on hold and return intercom dialtone to you.

• Press the preprogramed voicemail (VM) key
• Enter extension number, or press the function key, of phone to receive the transfer.
• Press the preprogramed "transfer" key to send the caller thorugh.

If you do not have a preprogramed transfer key you may be able to simply hang up after announcing the call. Contact your vendor if you are unsure.
